Tampak chair
Walnut frame, hand-loomed tenun seat from East Flores.
Merah Living designs and produces collectible furniture in collaboration with Indonesian craftsmen, chairs, tables, lighting, and objects, released as numbered editions or built bespoke to commission.
Every Merah Living piece is drawn in our Jakarta studio and built by master craftsmen at our Jepara workshop. We design slowly, prototype thoroughly, and finish by hand — because a chair you’ll own for forty years should be made like one.
Numbered editions, typically of 12 to 48 pieces, each signed and accompanied by a certificate. Available direct from the workshop and through a small number of partner showrooms in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
One-off pieces for residences, hotels and institutional clients — including collaborative editions co-developed with artists from the Merah Gallery program.
